Fully automatic line for washing, drying/sterilising, filling & closing of cartridges.

The line is composed of

Bausch + Ströbel washing machine, model KWM 10000 

Designed for pharma-compliant wet cleaning of cartridges. The containers are conveyed through the work area very gently in a continuous motion, and are transported into the main work area via ultrasonic equipment for the removal of coarse impurities.

Bausch + Ströbel sterilizing runner, model DHT 2550 

Tunnel for drying, sterilizing and depyrogenizing glass containers though the use of a low-turbulence vertical air flow. With multiple insulation layers to prevent heat loss and maximize energy efficiency.

CHARACTERISTICS

• special hot gas filters in the sterilization zone produce a cleanroom class A atmosphere in all operating conditions, even in the pre-heating and cooling phases
• with sterilizing-grade filters or integrated high-efficiency particulate air filters (HEPA filters) which do not require any sealing on the air discharge side

PRODUCTION PHASES

• Insertion of plunger stoppers/mixing balls/gas-flushing before dosing
• Dosage done by ceramic rotary piston pumps (6-head pre-dosing station + 6-head post-dosing station)
• Closing the cartridges with rubber lined crimp caps
